Parklands ON SHOW TODAY campaign 4th November 2009
by Tony Clarke
On Sunday 8th November, a marketing promotion with a slightly different twist will take place in Parklands. The township developers together with several builders and contractors will show their product in a joint marketing campaign named ON SHOW TODAY.
The term ON SHOW TODAY generally suggests that an agent will be showing a property on that day, and most often in the real estate business here in Cape Town, this occurs during 2pm and 5pm on Sundays.
But in Parklands this weekend, the promotion will be a little different in that 13 new homes will be available to view. Contractors and their agents will occupy the homes and will be able to provide visitors with prices for the built product as well as for a variety of plans made available by them. And the Aska sales team will be on site to provide information on the plots available in this phase. All homes and plots ON SHOW TODAY are within walking distance of each other.
No newsprint advertising will take place, but from midday on Sunday, staff dressed in red and white T-shirts bearing ON SHOW TODAY will hand out several thousand flyers from robots in and around Table View/Parklands. The flyers will indicate where the homes and plots are situated, and ON SHOW TODAY boards will direct interested parties to Phase 12. The show houses will de decorated with pennants and signboards bearing the agent’s and developer’s details.
If you are unlucky enough not to receive a flyer containing all the relevant information – the ON SHOW TODAY promotion will take place this Sunday at the eastern end of Parklands Main Road and will be repeated on Sunday 22nd November.
